The Port of São Francisco do Sul breaks historical record in fertilizer imports

Eleva imports higher-level fertilizers from the national market through the country's largest ports. In 2021, the Port of São Francisco do Sul, a port complex that serves most of our imports, recorded the largest volume in history in the import of inputs for agricultural and steel production.
The import of fertilizers and urea reached 2.1 million tons, 31% increase compared to 2020. In total, 434,486,658 tons of fertilizers were imported by Eleva Química.
The Port of São Francisco do Sul is the largest port in cargo movement of Santa Catarina, is the 7th largest port in Brazil in general cargo movement and is in 4th place in the environmental ranking among the 34 Brazilian public ports.
The port complex also stands out as the 3rd best port in Brazil's performance and, in the comparison of the overall load between the first half of 2020 and 2021, while the increase in the average of Brazilian ports was 19%, in the Port of São Francisco was 77%, according to the National Waterway Transport Agency.
